November, 2014 - Marty Gallagher, Katherine Pitz, Yenny Rua, Melissa Sulciner are awarded $1200 from Fairfield's Lawrence Scholars program to put towards their Senior Design project, SpinLeaf 2.0.
October, 2014 - Yenny Rua is awarded $2000 from Fairfield's Lawrence Scholars program to do research with Dr. Reckinger over the 2014/2015 AY and to travel to San Francisco to present at APS-DFD.
September, 2014 - Yenny Rua receives an undergraduate student travel grant of $400 from APS to attend APS-DFD in San Francisco.
September, 2014 - Thomas Gibson, Fred Hohman, Theresa Morrison receive travel grants from their respective home departments to attend APS-DFD in San Francisco and JMM in San Antonio to present his research on his summer REU project.
May, 2014 - Robert Governale, Colin Nerich, Claudele Pierre, and Seyal Sharoz receive a $500 sponsorship from Whole Foods for their Senior Design Project, SpinLeaf.
April, 2014 - Yenny Rua and Kaitlin Maciejewski win second place (and $200) in the student poster session at the SWE Region F Conference in Springfield, MA for the their poster, "The relationship between the pH of Sodium Hydroxide and 3D printed support resin dissolution".
April, 2014 - Katherine Pitz and Samantha Canosa win third place in the undergraduate student poster session at the ASEE Zone 1 Conference in Bridgeport, CT for their poster "Mouth shape evolution for Amia fish feeding".
October, 2013 - Robert Governale, Colin Nerich, Claudele Pierre, and Seyal Sharoz receive a $200 grant from the Office of Service Learning at Fairfield University for their Senior Design project, SpinLeaf.
December, 2012 - Joe Bocchino, Andrew Jackowitz, and John Perry win a $1500 campus sustainability grant for their rainwater harvester design for Senior Project.
